Tulip Time 2004
The Blue Devils Horse Platoon were invited to join the Cavalerie Ere-Escorte as the official escorts for the Netherlands Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Clifford Sobel, during the Grand Parade. The Grand Parade is the finale to the weeklong Tulip Time Celebration.
They also conducted special training sessions throughout the weeklong Tulip Time Celebration, including Beach Training and a military horse show.

The horses had to navigate smoke and gunfire.
The enthusiastic crowd was a big help in preparing the horses for the noise and distraction of a parade.
